The Chronicles of Sylveria was created for the Grade 11 Introduction to Psychology, Sociology, and Anthropology course in Ontario, in partnership with the Ontario French-Language Virtual Learning Consortium.

Fully integrated into the Brightspace LMS, the game is ready to support the player’s learning journey.

Players can also download the results of their quests along with key learnings in PDF format to share with their teacher.

The game begins in the ruins of Sylveria, where a mysterious medallion sends the player back in time. As an archaeology intern, they explore the city and its inhabitants through psychological, sociological, and anthropological perspectives.

Quests cover topics like mental health, Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, sociological theories, socialization, and research methods, supported by mini-games, dialogue, and a journal.
