Affordance launches Eau Poste

Affordance Studio is proud to collaborate with EnviroCompétences to develop a serious game that shines a light on a field that is both fascinating and essential: water treatment. A critical sector for the environment and public health, this sector is essential in our daily lives. However, it continues to face recruitment challenges, despite competitive working conditions and attractive salaries.

A game to explore the world behind clean and wastewater

This project offers an immersive experience where players step into three distinct roles within the water treatment and filtration process. Through interactive scenarios, they will discover the challenges, responsibilities, and innovations that define this field. The goal is to demystify a profession that is often overlooked and reveal the depth and richness of its work.

Why use a serious game to attract talent?

Serious games are designed not only to entertain but also to educate and raise awareness. At Affordance Studio, we believe this approach is particularly effective for making complex or lesser-known subjects more accessible.

Through engaging scenarios, meaningful challenges, and interactive systems, players can learn about a field while also beginning to see themselves within it.

In the case of water filtration, a lack of awareness remains one of the main barriers to recruitment. Many people do not realize how essential these professionals are to our everyday lives, or how many exciting opportunities the sector offers. By immersing players in this world, our goal is simple: spark curiosity, challenge assumptions, and inspire exploration.

A fascinating sector to discover

Water filtration is more than machines and technical processes. It is a field that blends innovation, environmental responsibility, and essential community service. Every drop of water that reaches our taps is the result of dedicated expertise. Yet, unless people are directly exposed to it, this work often remains invisible.

A project aligned with our values

This partnership with EnviroCompétences reflects our commitment to using games as tools for social impact. At Affordance Studio, we design experiences that go beyond entertainment. Our games aim to educate, raise awareness, and inspire.

Stay tuned as this exciting project evolves, and step soon into a world where every drop of water matters.
