The game is divided into six scenarios representing six months, during which players test their knowledge of the financial world in real-life situations, such as opening a bank account, setting a budget, or choosing their studies.

Money Smarts is an educational video game that teaches Indigenous youth aged 12 to 17 the basics of financial education.

All art and content was created by Indigenous entrepreneurs and artists.

Make your own choices

Players are presented with multiple options and must make decisions regarding various random events that simulate real-life scenarios. Each choice can lead to different outcomes, challenging players to think about how their choices affect their community.

Unlock your full potential

Players must also make smart choices to finish the game with enough savings. By taking charge of their finances, weighing needs versus wants, and keeping a close eye on their budget, they shape their path to success and see just how far their financial savvy can take them.

Indigenous values

Money Smarts proposes in-game events that affect not only the money indicators, but also their community. In this way, the game gives players the chance to make financial decisions for their own personal goals but also the goals of their communities.
